The purpose of this blog is to share our little slice of paradise with you! About five years ago, we got pretty focused on self-reliance and homesteading.  Slowly, but surely, we are working toward that goal.  We invite you to join us as we learn and grow together in the process. Lots of learning curves, DO’s and DONT’s.  We share it all!

In sharing our story, we hope to connect with others out there that are just pluggin’ along in life just like we are.  That’s the best way isn’t it? Life is about relationships.  We hope to inspire, laugh, learn, love and share with you and visa versa.

We will cover all kinds of homesteading topics from gardening, chicken-keeping, building projects, and cooking! Some of our experiences have been pretty humorous, so maybe it’ll be a good belly laugh, too!
